Concept to 3D

Remember my Pizza place concept? Well I built it in maya finally! This was the first time I've ever UVed something and man was it complicated, but I think I'm getting the hang of it.  Plus I added some lighting onto the environment.  Lighting is definitely something I need to work on.

This is for a contest I did for Trinquette Publishing.  Trinquette Publishing (FB)
The contest provides two models to choose from, or you can do both of them.  I just had to draw a scooter for my rendition. haha. Enjoy! They also do these contests every week so expect to see more!

Here is a piece I did for a background design competition with a group.  We had to pick a story and each person in the group had to come up with a design for it.  I chose to do the throne room of our story which is part of the beast king's castle.  It's in ruins but a girl, who was forbidden to ever go in, gets curious and explores the castle.  I tried to do an intimidating background and put more story into the drawing.  Hopefully I portrayed well!

Here is yet... another background! But this time I am modeling this one.  I get to try out texturing and Uv's, which seems intimidating but I'm going to try my best anyways.  It's fairly simple so it won't be too difficult, hopefully.
So I decided to model this background because it's part of a little short animation that I plan on creating sometime.  It's called Pizza Rush and it's pretty much a humorous story about pizza delivery guys.  It's still on the debate for myself if I should do it 3D or 2D though.

EVEN more backgrounds

So I swear this quarter has just been backgrounds left and right.  I don't mind though because I enjoy drawing them a lot now! More to come!
