Drawing more backgrounds

Here's another background but this time for a different class.  I had to create a background based on a hermit who is a clean freak and lives in a swamp.

Some backgrounds from my digital paint class! I really need to practice more on backgrounds o - o Backgrounds are hard but I'm gonna try harder and put more of them behind my characters instead of a plain background.

Highschool Stuff

So I was backing up all my files and I found this! Some of my work I did in highschool. Sadly I don't have all the files since I lost a lot of them from my last computer... (That's why I backup everything on like 3 different hard drives now o - o) Here are some of my first models ever!

This is my first model that I have ever done in Maya... ever! Ya it sucks right! xD

And here is a really creepy room that I did.  I pretty much did this project to experiment with tools and different shaders. Sadly I have forgotten a lot of good tricks -___- That just means you have to keep doing things over and over again so that you can have it fresh in your mind.

And the last project (that I didn't lose) is this very bizarre dining room.  I learned a lot of UV's and textures which was fun. Also some lighting techniques.

I miss the highschool days when I look at these projects, but I'm pretty satisfied with myself that I have improved a lot since then.  I'm looking forward to learning newer tricks and bringing out but quality work. 

Here is a digital painting of another sheep character.  I not sure why I have been drawing sheep characters lately, its not even my favorite animal.  Oh well, they still work I guess.  Also I thought of changing my header so now this will be part of it.

Trying out a new style of painting in photoshop.  I tried a gradient first and then put colors over it.  It was a huge challenge to keep the gradient and I don't think I picked good colors o - o Oh well it was a learning experience and I plan to use this method again.
